The building project was realized as a three-storey massive construction and basement. The ceilings are carried by outer- and inner walls consisting of vertical coring bricks. The roof construction is made of viewable wooden rafters. The visible pent roof is covered with roof tiles.

 

The whole building complex resembles a big right angle, which on the inside encloses the semicircular meeting venue under a pent roof.

 

The exposure with daylight is supported by a classical facade, equipped with thermal insulating windows.

 

To provide daylight orientated exposure, instead of balconies in the living areas, French windows are installed. All accommodation units are of open coverage type including a fitted kitchen. All apartments are accessible for handicapped. On the ground floor, the main kitchen to fully supply the whole institution is located.

 

To provide convenient acoustics, we installed a suspended acoustic ceiling in the lobby, in the hall way and the meeting venues.

 

For a further meeting venue, we laid out the patio space like a small park.
